Every year, the National Fusion Center Association (NFCA) provides opportunities for a select group of private sector firms to conduct training and share best practices with Law Enforcement and Fusion Center personnel across the country. TrapWire is honored to have been given the opportunity to present on our acclaimed school safety system, TrapWire Athena, on August 9th. Our presentation: “The Global and Local Aspects of School Safety,” will review lessons learned regarding the detection, analysis, and mitigation of threats to and around schools. The focus will be on the necessity of broadening the scope of threat detection while facilitating local involvement in response and mitigation, and ensuring privacy protections and data integrity.
