This is an interesting and informative video produced by DHS regarding Custom and Border Protection’s “Texas Hold’Em” program. Although the video is intended to educate truckers and Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) holders on the tactics used by smugglers to move contraband across the border, the video is also an excellent primer for all drivers who work or live near the US/Mexico border. Working in conjunction with the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), CBP has arrested hundreds of truck drivers under this program, most of whom have had their CDL permanently revoked.
