The TrapWire team will be attending the Texas School Safety Conference in San Antonio from 23-26 June. We will be showcasing the iWatchTexas School Safety Network that we built for the Texas Department of Public Safety. For the past seven years, iWatchTexas has successfully turned numerous real-time reports into rapid threat responses and saved lives…including intervening and thwarting at least two school shooting plots. We already have over 1,000 schools in Texas on the iWatch network and are looking to add many more. There is no cost for TX schools: just scan the QR code at our booth and start the process!
In addition, we will be presenting the new iSAVE TX BTAM tool. iSAVE was built for TXDPS as a way to assist DPS subject matter experts and analysts to make determinations on persons of interest who may be on the pathway to violence, and get them the help they need. In short, iSAVE TX is the “do something” to iWatchTexas’ “see something, say something.”
